Cirque du Soleil-way of living!
Hi,
Couldn't visit this site for some time now. Am passing through some amazing strands of time. The events that have happened helped me prove the sheer obliteration of age-old certainties. After all, nothing is anyone's god-given right!
The writing on the wall is to lead a life like "Cirque du Soliel". This is a band of performers who do all kinda stuff to have the audience at the edge of their seats. Their business model is fairly simple; make yourself uncomfortable, continuously - and innovate as though there is no tomorrow. For, comfort brings forth complacency and is antithetic to innovations.
Having made-up my mind to lead a life as a performer of the band, the following have become the tenets of living:
1. Every day is the final day in this world.
2. Every chance is final.
3. Every moment is showtime.
Couldn't help but be reminded of the mind of the prisoner, moments before being hanged (in "Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoevesky). The vehicle (carrying him) needs to cross two more streets to reach the hangman's podium. The prisoner relishes the pleasure of "living" the time the vehicle takes to cross the two streets.
My hearty welcome to the "Cirque du Soleil" way of living!!
